What's the defination of due time? Most new artist have to grind for years before they ever put out a album. New artist have to deal with little or no promotions and small budgets just to name a few obstacles. Scarface said he wanted the world and everything in it. Disturbing Tha Peace/Def Jam artist Small World is no different. But for Small World it's due time.

You were raised in Raleigh , NC tell us about it?
Raleigh is home. It's a great place to be a kid. I had fun and had heavy respect from my peers. Always have. It's all about family and friends here. Ruff Raleigh all day!

How did you get the name Small World?
The name was given to me. Anyone who was anyone had a "name" so when I was 10, I got my "name" from being a mischievous kid. It came from the movie Bae Bae's kids. My friend DJ gave me the name. I was staying in what was Cinnamon Ridge Apts at the time.

You been in the industry for a well, your first major feature was on Wyclef's “The Elecftic: 2 Sides II a Book” how was that experience?
Great experience. Learned lots. Clef's a musical genius. He saw that I was just the same at a young age so I'll always respect him for that.

You were managed by Wyclef for awhile what made you decided to go a different route?
Everybody went different ways because of label issues Wyclef had and also, it just was time to spread wings and fly. I was headed in a much bigger direction personally at the time as well so I had to follow my heart and build my company Norfclk Ent so I went on to do so.

How did you get signed to DTP?
A friend (Free of BET's 106 & Park) told a friend (Chaka Zulu) about me and the rest was history. I ended up getting my group and I signed. God's super good! lol

You were originally in the group Norfclk with Brolic D and Perfect Harmany. Did you plan to be a solo artist or that's how the cards were dealt?
We're all solo artists at heart. We're all uniquely talented dudes. Norfclk means North Carolina in the NC streets so that's what I felt my crew was simply, the streets of NC. That's where the name came from and how it all started so it'll be that way always weather we're dropping albums or not. It's family and family is forever. To answer the question, I personally decided to go solo because I decided to step up and make the situation better for us all and it's working as I predicted so I'm full speed ahead. This dosen't means we were in a bad situation. It just means I'm going to go ahead and make it what it needed to be. BIGGER!!!

What was the first thing you did when you signed your deal?
I dropped to my knees with my Norfclk brothers and gave thanks to God's obvious role in it all and then went and layed up with my girl at the time for a few days. lol!
